No one is more surprised that I am a pastor than me!  An agnostic/atheist  from 18 to my early 30’s, I never thought I’d be IN a church, much less UP FRONT leading worship.  This blog is a place for theological and personal reflections of an unexpected Christian and Pastor.

As a former contestant on JEOPARDY! and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, there is sure to be ample trivia in these posts as well.

Currently, I’m pastor at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Millersville, Maryland.  I’m blessed to have an amazing wife and two awesome young adult kids – a son and a daughter

    You sound just like my husband, he’s heading for ordination and nobody was no surprised than he to have woken up one day to say ‘I’m going to be a priest’. Enjoying the blog immensely! Thank you
